Why are you a Democrat?

I believe that all Americans should be able to live with economic security, affordable healthcare, and physical autonomy. I believe in individual liberty, the preservation of the rule of law and the fact that we are all responsible for our entire community.

Accomplishments

• I am the first female and first democratic lawyer ever elected to serve as a Circuit Court Judge in DuPage County 

• Prior to my election I spent years doing appellate work

• I have argued cases in both the Appellate Court and Supreme Court

I am fiercely dedicated to the protection of our fundamental rights. I have shown my commitment to our community and to the judicial process for the past 5 years. As the Presiding Judge of the felony division I have helped to support and oversee our specialty courts to the benefit of many individuals.
